It’s finally here: the first episode of Game of Thrones season 7, entitled “Dragonstone.” Cersei is queen of the Seven Kingdoms. Jon Snow is King in the North. The Night King is descending from beyond the Wall and Daenerys Targaryen is approaching from the far east. What will happen when these plots collide? Here’s HBO’s episode synopsis:
Jon (Kit Harington) organizes the defense of the North. Cersei (Lena Headey) tries to even the odds. Daenerys (Emilia Clarke) comes home.
Given the episode title, it’s not hard to guess where Daenerys is coming home to: Dragonstone, her birthplace. As for the rest of the description, it’s as delightfully vague as ever. HBO has made a speciality of that over the years
